POSITION SUMMARY

The Medicare Retention Leader is accountable for collaborating and developing Local Market retention strategies. The position is responsible for Medicare member retentions and senior community relations development in the NY market.

Fundamental Components:

Responsible for meeting or exceeding Medicare member retention goals for the New York Medicare markets. Use relevant consumer data to understand drivers of member disenrollment and retention. Develop strategies and tactics to influence these drivers and improve member retention.

Responsible for then implementing strategies and tactics in NY that result in increased member retention. Engage directly with members, providers and colleagues to gain alignment and support that drives improvement. Serve as liaison to member experience committee. Secure and manage corporate shared services supporting local events.

Candidate must be comfortable travelling throughout New York state as needed to achieve job objectives.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Minimum 3 to 5 years customer service and/or member retention experience required. Experience in health insurance and Medicare Advantage experience required. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and corporate applications. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
