POSITION SUMMARY

The Medicaid RFP Document Specialist is part of the Aetna Medicaid RFP and Business Development team. This person plays a critical role in the development of all Medicaid proposals. Medicaid is the fastest growing segment of the health care industry. Aetna Medicaid's business unit is growing as well. This job offers the right candidate the opportunity to participate in our efforts to improve the health and lives of the nation's most vulnerable citizens through our managed Medicaid contracts with states while at the same time learning highly valuable job skills.

Fundamental Components:

The Medicaid RFP Document Specialist is responsible for project management of all proposal appendices and related deliverables, such as financial and legal documentation. This position is also responsible for leading appendices review meetings and coordinating all of the logistics involved in response production, including printing and shipping.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Administering RFP SharePoint sites, including proposal document management, based on project need. Developing response-specific tools and templates for proposal creation and management in accordance with state RFP requirements. Preparing and building final materials for submission, including print documents and electronic media. Working with external printing and shipping vendors.BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:4-6 years document management experience managing a high volume of documents (100-150 documents)4-6 years project management experience4-6 years of experience with MS Word1-3 years of experience with SharePoint1-3 years of experience with Adobe AcrobatStrong attention to detail

The successful candidate must be well organized, exhibit strong verbal and written communication and time management skills, be able to juggle multiple priorities, detail oriented and a fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
