Aetna ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) Liaison in Phoenix, Arizona

The ACT Liaison is a project manager level position that will provide support to the Senior ACT Manager. The ACT Liaison will work to ensure compliance to the Mercy Maricopa contract and continued monitoring of the providers contracted for ACT services.

Fundamental Components:

Implements strategic plan and quality initiatives for Assertive Community TreatmentEvaluates Providers and serves as a subject matter expert to provide technical assistance for Assertive Community Treatment FidelityObserves ACT Providers in the community and provides targeted feedback for continuous gains in fidelity for the Evidence Based Program (EBP) (30%)Works in conjunction with multiple internal stakeholders such as Operations, Office of Individual and Family Affairs, Medical Directors, Housing, Quality Management and Provider Monitoring to ensure operational, clinical and quality improvement initiatives align with clinical best practice and adhere to fidelityTrack, combine and maintain multiple provider deliverables (30%)Responsible for initial review of ACT members grievances/appeals and member-specific follow up with providers (15%)Monitors Level 1 and newly SMI ACT referrals, completes case-specific admission reviews and reviews of members in a duplication of service setting to ensure fidelity to the model (15%)Provides support services to team members by answering family and member telephone calls, taking messages, scheduling meetings, researching information and assisting in solving concerns related to ACT members (10%)BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:Strong written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to affect change/strong interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines3 years experience in the behavioral health field with a preference for some experience in ACT (assertive community treatment model)1 year experience either in a supervisory capacity or facilitating meetings with stakeholders


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
