The Director, Client Solutions (2 positions) will oversee either a regional team or a vertical team within the client solutions organization. He or she will focus on all aspects of Client Solutions strategies, including but not limited to client/consultant partnerships, retention, growth and team development. These 2 positions will report to the Head of Client Solutions.
Develops business strategies to successfully manage renewals and ensure customer satisfaction. Implements operational plans in support of achieving renewal, customer satisfaction, revenue, and earnings objectives. Supports team in developing productive and collaborative internal partnerships to create a comprehensive growth and service strategy for an assigned book of business. Ensures alignment with customers objectives, financial position, and employee benefit strategy while providing cross-sell opportunities and profitable revenue and growth. Regularly provides updates to senior leadership on operational successes or improvement areas within regionally-aligned team. Manages, develops, and cultivates relationships with constituents as appropriate. Partners with team members as appropriate in meetings with clients to professionally represent Meritain & Aetna in the marketplace; articulates how Meritain's products and services can contribute to clients objectives. Recruits, develops and retains a diverse workforce. Sets, communicates, implements, and monitors performance metrics within assigned team; aligns assigned performance measures with company
7-10 years progressively responsible account management experience within the health insurance industry.
Previous experience managing cross-functional, self-directed teams.
Self-funded account management experience required.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Insurance/Life and Health Insurance License is desired

One position should be in Amherst and one position can be located in another of our main hubs for Meritain, preferably on East Coast; Parsippany NJ, Tampa FL, possibly Hartford CT.
