Aetna Director, Medicare Operations in Overland Park, Kansas

This position will sit in our Overland Park, KS office location.
Position is integral to the operational integrity and product strategy for the market.
Role reports to the General Manager of Medicare Product and supports the Product/Corporate partners, Local Sales, and Revenue teams. Role is very visible and responsible for supporting external engagement meetings with agents/brokers and members, in addition to facilitating internal meetings and employee engagement activities.
Significant (7+ years) experience in Medicare Operations and/or Medicare compliance functions.
Familiarity with regulations and statutes impacting the managed care environment.
Ability to perform analysis and legal research to identify and clarify issues.
Business acumen and experience with managing complex budgets.
Excellent consulting and leadership skills.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a MBA.
