The Social Media team is hiring a Community Manager who will be responsible for engaging with consumers on Aetna s owned social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Tumblr. You will also proactively engage consumers across non-owned social platforms to insert the Aetna brand in relevant conversation to drive brand favorability. Additionally, you will regularly share insights with key stakeholders to inform strategic optimizations. Our ideal candidate is experienced, passionate, and innovative.

Candidate must demonstrate – thorough case studies or presentations brought to your in-person interview – expertise in community management and engagement.

Specific responsibilities include:

Serve as Aetna s “face on designated social media channels; engaging with consumers to drive brand favorability Monitor, moderate, and respond to consumer conversations and engagements on our social media channels Proactively identify relevant social conversation opportunities and bring forward recommendations to insert the Aetna brand in an organic way Play an active role in listening to and monitoring social conversations across our channels and within the social space to garner insights that will help optimize social marketing strategies; act as a resource for these insights and share across the organization Partner with Aetna s internal Social Media Response Team/customer service group to assist with resolving customer inquiries and identifying potential issues that require escalation and involvement by senior team leads

Required Background/Experience

3-5 years social media marketing experience, primarily in social media community management, healthcare or highly regulated industry experience a plus Professional, on-the-spot communication skills Quick decision-maker Good judgment and ability to be calm in the face of stress Understands social media measurement and reporting Experience with social media monitoring tools such as Synthesio and Sprinklr Experience with SalesForce Marketing Cloud and/or Social Studio a plus Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills Ability to work in fast-paced team environment and flexibility to accommodate demanding schedules and competing priorities Motivated self-starter, process-oriented with high attention to detail

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
