Position Summary:

The Research Consultant will support a broader team in the execution of current, and development of new primary consumer/member research projects and secondary data analysis, for Government Health Insurance services (Medicare, Medicaid and Federal Employee), with a focus on Medicaid. The position will participate in creating approaches and process to deliver timely, accurate and actionable fact-based perspective on business initiatives; participating in design, field, analysis and socialization of insights.

Fundamental Components:

Assesses data needs and develops research approaches in collaboration with Enterprise Intelligence manager, that address Marketing and Sales management needs. Must be capable of working with primary, secondary and marketing analytics information. Actively contributes to functioning of the team, sharing information and driving internal projects. Develops and provides monthly metrics for each Medicaid market

Research and analyzes market conditions in local, regional, or national areas.

Development and analysis of secondary research sources specifically cultivated to inform and enhance decision making and deployment of successful growth strategies/tactics for Medicaid markets. Develop reports based on ability to pull information from multiple sources.

Write reports and present findings independently. Dynamically address questions and follow up on additional analysis and interpretation as needed.


  • 2+ years working knowledge of quantitative and qualitative primary market research methods, is desired, ideally in service of a Medicaid or other Govt aid program. * Skill with Microsoft Office, Qualtrics, SAS/R, Tableau, Adobe Suite.

  • Good business acumen.


    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree (Business, Library Science, Social Science) preferred.
