POSITION SUMMARY

The Eligibility Consultant position is responsible for the processing of Medicare return mail for Aetna Medicare product membership in accord with regulatory guidelines. The position will perform functions associated with the indexing, research, delivery and issuance of printed Medicare member materials.

Fundamental Components:

The Eligibility Consultant role will support the function of the Medicare Member return mail team. Primary tasks include electronic indexing of USPS return mail, use of internal systems to investigate and update member demographics, queue and reprint of returned Medicare member correspondence, and the delivery of interoffice mail. The position requires the ability to switch between multiple tasks while adhering to established production and quality standards. The role requires that the candidate have basic data entry and computer literacy skills. The role requires effective communication with team members, as well as internal customers.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

High School diploma or GED is REQUIRED.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. is REQUIRED.

Previous data entry experience (1-3 years) is REQUIRED.

Previous desktop computer experience preferred.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience.

Functional - Customer Service/Customer service - production environment/1-3 Years

TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCES

Technical - Operating Systems/Windows/1-3 Years/End User
