Chief Operating Officer Aetna Better Health Kentucky. Manage the state wide health plan operations of a 260,000 Medicaid health plan located in Louisville KY.
Position will report directly to the CEO. Ability to work closely with other members of the C-Suite including the CMO and CFO. Senior Operations Officicer responsible for daily delivery of health plan services throughout the Commonwealth of KY. Direct reports include the following cross functional departments: Grievance & Appeals, Member Services, Provider Operations, Network Operations.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills. Express thoughts in an organized and articulate manner.
Ability to work collaboratively across many teams, prioritize demands from those team, synthesize information received, and generate meaningful conclusions.
Ability to conceive innovative ideas or solutions to meet our members, providers and regulatory requirements.
10+ years work experience that reflects a proven track record of proficiency in the competencies noted.
Demonstrated leadership with relevant initiatives: Business process, enterprise business project management/consulting, financial strategic planning and analysis,
Ability to work closely with client service, operations, and investment personnel
Proven leadership and negotiation skills.
Recent and related managed health care experience.
Listen very effectively and build a climate of trust and respect with prospective and existing clients and the consulting community
mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, risk management.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Master's degree.
