Aetna Supplier Relationship Manager in Hartford, Connecticut

Establish and manage assigned supplier and third party relationship(s) to assure value to Aetna is maximized and risks associated with delivery of service(s) are controlled. Supplier Relationship Manager manages suppliers relationship with the business with increased level of complexity, risk and dollar value.
Provide strategic vendor service solution and trends to HR business customers.
Manage supplier/third party for assigned HR business area.
Ensures compliance with all policies and regulations as outlined in the service contracts and serves as first point of escalation of noncompliance issues.
Manages performance to ensure supplier is delivering on contracted service level agreements.
Mitigates future service disruptions and makes recommendations on the relationship based on supplier/third party performance.
Partners with Category Manager on new and existing contracts as defined by business
Serves as third party contact for Global Security Third Party Rick to ensure adherence with policy and control standards
Assures all risk remediation is mitigated to reduce risk to Aetna.
Proven track record in meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources (cost, solution)
Keen understanding of contract terms
Proven negotiation skills and consulting skills
Experience includes development and management of multiple relationship related to various projects and or program.
Proven project management skills.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Human Resources/HR Project Management Certification is desired
Service/Creating a Differentiated Service Experience/ADVANCED
