POSITION SUMMARY

Accountable for designing conceptual models, initiative planning, business results and ongoing client relationship management and satisfaction for smaller to moderate scale and complexity high value initiatives and parts of larger initiatives that impact the delivery of products and services to the internal and external environment.

Responsible for providing guidance and direction to key constituents, consulting team members and/or matrix staff as required in support of initiatives.

Accountable for transferring knowledge, best practices, methodology and tools to client organizations.

May be responsible for concurrent initiatives as team lead and/or team member based on resource requirements.

Fundamental Components:

o Accountable to work with the IB (Institutional Business) Leads to drive working with the business to help with execution of ABX (Achieving Business Excellence) implementation plans post Event.

o Partner with the IB Business Leads to optimize the method to transfer knowledge to the business on lean/six sigma tools and methodologies via practical application.

o Proven ability to influence matrix resources and collaborate with various key constituents to drive the success of a given initiative.

o Responsible for providing guidance and direction to key resources as required to support the initiatives.

o Working SME knowledge in more than one IB business area and/or value stream including understanding of goals, operations, process or drivers.

o Ability to work effectively across the organization, influences leaders as appropriate and interacts effectively with various levels of the organization.

o Build processes to manage based on prior experience by leveraging prior best practice for data gathering, problem solving, project/program governance and communication with key constituents, etc.

o Effectively manage escalated issues, risks, decisions and corresponding mitigation strategies; escalate further as appropriate.

o Ensure project/program team is applying critical thinking to project/initiatives for a given business area including managing time, milestones, status, etc.

o Ability to manage and drive engagements consistently establishing governance processes, clear and concise reporting and presentation materials, facilitation and promotion of enhancements as appropriate.

o Manage the development of processes and suggestions to better facilitate work; executes as appropriate.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Desired Skills: Leadership and team building skills, Critical thinking, Analytical, Reporting (access data, provide reporting) skills, Project/Program Management, Process Management, Institutional Business SME knowledge, Time, Prioritization and Organizational management, Oral and written communication skills including facilitation, Negotiation/influencing skills. Six Sigma Green Belt certification, training, experience desired.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
