POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for pharmacy benefit plan coding for new and existing customers. Provides focused service to ensure pharmacy benefits are coded timely and accurately.

Fundamental Components:

Processes pharmacy plan benefit coding from Aetna source system in accordance with quality and production standards. Additional requirements of this position include but are not limited to: - Researches and resolves issues in a timely and efficient manner - Possesses functional knowledge of the other units in the department and organization - Suggests solutions to ensure productive and accurate data entry - Participates as a member of a cross functional work team - Participates in testing of system changes, fixes or upgrades - Uses system generated data to prepare management level reports - Exhibits behaviors outlined in Implementation Consultant Competencies

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

1+ years healthcare experience Knowledge of Aetnas Pharmacy products, services, and system capabilities desired Knowledge CCI, specifically the RxDrug BIC coding guidelines desired Knowledge of SalesForce.com would be beneficial

EDUCATION

The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience.
