Performs Network Architecture/Design, Implementation and On-going support for a Fortune 50 Enterprise, with a focus on moving the Network to a more software defined, programmable and automated network, with extensive expansion into the Public Cloud. A focus area will be implementing network services such as DNS, IP address, firewall and routing as a Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS) in Public Cloud.

Fundamental Components:

Provides guidance for creating and maintaining network standards, policies and controls for the network that is transforming. Creates and implements designs to meet business objectives that support our technology strategy. Expected to transfer knowledge to peers on the technical team and to meet SLAs established w the business. The position does require 24X7 support on a rotational basis. The position will support on a daily basis, the team goal of becoming a software, programmable network w greater automation and use of Network Behavioral Analytics, and Public Cloud to augment our internal, core network. This is in addition to the normal tenants of high availability, flexible capacity, and being highly secure. The position will also include the support of customer, regulatory and internal audit work and the associated documentation required for the Network.


8+ years work experience that reflects a proven track record or proficiency in the competencies noted.

Demonstrated skill designing and managing distributed enterprise environments.

Experience designing and testing new technologies that will extend the corporate infrastructure.


The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


10+ years experience in network engineering design and support work, with focus on Internet, B2B, Public and Hybrid Cloud technology. Experience working in a large Enterprise, dealing w e.PHI data is valuable. Experience w Firewall, DNS, Web Proxies, routing and switching technologies is required.
