POSITION SUMMARY

Aetna is evolving from a health insurer to a health company. To support the rapid growth and change, the Enterprise Intelligence Department is moving from a research to a Brand Planning model. That means becoming consultative partners to our internal clients and using multi-disciplinary problem solving techniques to reach actionable insights that drive disruptive innovation across product and service development, customer experience design, and marketing. This role is vital to enable us to grow and scale.

The Market Research Manager supports the strategic priorities and financial performance of internal clients across the Enterprise by planning, implementing, and analyzing social listening.

Fundamental Components:

Work with Strategic Planners on businesses across the Enterprise to turn business needs into valuable Social Listening projects.

Manage Social Media tools, develop search queries, program searches, and analyze listening data.

Transform Social Listening findings into clearly communicated insights. Tell an impactful story with data.

Develop an efficient system to deliver Social Listening reporting across the Enterprise in a timely and impactful manner.

Communicate effectively through written and verbal methods: project briefs, conclusion-based reports, research updates, in-person presentations and discussions.

Organize multiple tasks and projects independently. Capable of organizing group projects with multiple dependencies.

Dynamically address questions and follow up on additional analysis and interpretation as needed.

Represent data clearly with tables and graphs.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years' experience in the Social Media industry in an analytics role.

  • Experience setting up and using Social Media Listening tools, such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch, etc. (Sprinklr experience preferred) to design reports and develop insights.

  • Experience with SQL or boolean queries

  • Familiarity with social media metrics and KPIs to help brands make decisions

    EDUCATION

    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
