The H&A Merger and Acquisition Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring HR deliverables are integrated and completed through all phases of Corporate Development activity - M&A, Divestitures and Joint Ventures (due diligence, pre-close planning, Close, post-close planning and execution)
Responsible for complete analysis on Due Diligence materials, create comparisons, risk identification/concerns; develop recommended strategies, planning, coordination and implementation and integration recommendations for all HR functions (Business integration, Talent Mgmt, Culture/change, Diversity, Onboarding, Policy and Compliance, Compensation, benefits, HR Global Business Solutions, HR data/tools.)
Partner with legal on Employee Matters identified in the purchase agreements
Responsible for delivering on HR cost savings through integration cost
Partner with business owners on Op Model - People, process, technology
Identify 1x HR and ongoing run rate expenses aligned to Op Model & Due Diligence (All HR functions Enterprise Level)
Partner with enterprise organizations to identify and facilitate interdependencies this includes Legal, Procurement, IT, Corporate Compliance, Security, Investigative Services, Corporate Communications, Treasury, RBAC for new employee setup, etc.
Lead and manage HR cross functional teams/segments through group facilitation for integration planning, delivery and execution of all HR Functions
Consult with business areas on HR policies and practices
Drive strategic thinking to develop recommendations to mitigate differences between acquired companies policies/practices
Identify training requirements, develop and oversee training plan and deliver as needed
Liaison to the business leader for all M&A. Influence and drive business results based on agreed upon recommendations in order to achieve a successful end state
Advocate for newly acquired company as they transition onto Aetnas policies, procedures
Responsible for tracking and managing M&A related milestones and deliverables within EMA
Maintain detailed recordkeeping for historical purposes
Support multiple ongoing pipeline of corporate development initiatives in addition to potential execution of multiple integration plans.
Duration of integration engagement per transaction can be up to 2+ years.
Prior experience in HR Merger and Acquisition activities
Proven track record in meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources.
Proven negotiation skills and consulting skills
Experience includes development and management of multiple budgets related to various projects and or program.
Proven project management skills.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Human Resources/HR Project Management Certification is desired
Service/Creating a Differentiated Service Experience/ADVANCED
