The ideal candidate will oversee enterprise resilience – to include crisis/incident management and business continuity planning – and business risk and recovery activities for the Company.
The BC director will manage site planning and coordination activities, corporate event management, business risk and recovery activities, and third party supplier operational risk and recovery for the enterprise. As a member of the Global Security leadership team, will integrate convergence planning, both physical and cyber, into core security and business functions.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work and collaborate within the various business units and across all levels of employees. Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with diverse groups of individuals and functions, both internal and external. Strong working knowledge of the core BC concepts.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a MBA.

To ensure the continuity of operations by identifying, implementing and managing risks for one of the nation's leading diversified healthcare companies. Consults with Business owners and SMEs on periodic Business Impact Assessments and development of new Business Continuity or Crisis management Plans and associated recovery strategies. Ensures Business Continuity program readiness through creation of training programs and exercise of integrated plans. Manages assessments of Business Continuity and crisis plans for workability and adherence to Aetna's values and standards. Oversees periodic integrated plan testing of plans and readiness assessments and BDAR interdependencies. Manages Due Diligence assessments of external partners relative to Business continuity and periodically audit their compliance with contract stipulations.
