Leads National Health Care Network Delegation Management work and deliverables including multiple, complex programs and/or projects from ideation through to implementation. Supports business partners by taking appropriate actions and/or proposing alternatives to meet business needs. This is not an IT Project Manager position.

Fundamental Components:

  • Has responsibility for leading/managing all aspects of programs or projects such as planning, coordination, development, implementation including the financial implications while prioritizing work, resources, and time.

  • Identifies compliance gaps, challenges, and issues proactively.

  • Influences and manages change effectively in order to improve performance results, organization effectiveness and/or systems/quality/services.

  • Interprets data and presents in formats reflective of the audience and/or constituents.

  • Develops and implements strategic business plan to achieve business goals.

  • Proactively leads a program and/or most complex projects by setting strategic direction and providing oversight through resolution/closure.

  • Identifies gaps in processes and recommends enhancements related to new and/or existing processes and workflows based on broad view of the organization.

  • Collaborates and partners with other functional managers and other business areas across/within segments, within a heavily matrixed environment, to ensure all workflow processes and interdependencies are identified, addressed, and agreement is obtained from all impacted parties (e.g., up and downstream effects often impact multiple functions and/or segments).

  • Consults with constituents (these may be internal and/or external) to scope/define project.

  • Obtains financial support for complex projects or supports this work as it relates to program management.

  • Responsible for the financial implications of projects and/or program budgets.

  • Responsible for development and implementation of new ideas that supports work/team.

  • Cross function/segment group facilitation/presentation.

  • Leads all project and/or program management work including monitoring and tracking of progress and status update communications.

  • Responsible for resource utilization within and across work teams.

  • Assists others to identify solutions to issues that negatively impact program and/or project plan.


  • Solid years of practical work experience as a Project Management experience related to health care projects.

  • Proven track record in meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources.

  • Ability to give and follow instructions accurately and efficiently; proactive in asking clarifying questions to ensure work effort is directed wholly toward desired outcome.

  • Advanced reporting skills with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS SharePoint.

  • Strategic thinker, able to work independently

  • Able to drive results and work with cross functional teams

  • Ability to adapt to new circumstances, information, and challenges.

  • 8 - 10 years f experience related to standards and measurements, technology, systems and processes, including project consultation (preferred).

  • Prove ability to satisfy customer needs and develop alternatives to resolve issues.

  • Professional communication skills both written and verbal; excellent business acumen


    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

    PMP certification preferred.
