POSITION SUMMARY

The Supervisor, Business Information Management and Analysis formulates and implements information strategy to support operational objectives and other strategic business initiatives. Provides technology strategy, direction, management and support to business systems delivery and maintenance. Develops and maintains standards for data integrity, corrective actions, database alignment, and manages communication processes with other departments regarding database improvements. The position supervises the Traditional Product Support team to the ePublishing Contracting system. The Contract Services Organization provides drafting to all segments.

Fundamental Components: Directs the implementation and delivery of information and transaction products through education, user technology, organizational methods and proceduresOversees and/or assists staff with creating complex queries, complex technical programming, and complex applications Influences change/enhancements to business processes, policies, and system infrastructure to improve information quality, availability and accessAnticipates potential impacts of infrastructure, application and environmental changes to supported and related systemsPlays leadership role in Infrastructure-driven initiatives, providing technical and analytical guidance to customers, peers, and other teamsRemains continuously aware of business, technical, architecture, and infrastructure products and issuesWorks cross-functionally to evaluate new projects and determine their impact on the enterprise computing environmentsManages team projects, people, customer expectations, and business priorities to achieve constituent satisfactionResponsible for team commitments to quality and on-time deliverablesManages and builds a strong team through formal training, diverse assignments, coaching, mentoring, and other development techniquesMakes recommendations about data collection methods, metrics definition, and evaluation methodsParticipates in internal and external health industry development efforts (e.g., performance measures, transaction standards).BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:3-5 years of data interpretation and analysis experience is required.3-5 years demonstrated leadership experience is required.3-5 years project/program/process management experience is required.Exposure to the healthcare industry is strongly preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

WAH only considered for those already WAH and over 50 miles from a SO strategic site. Strategic Service Operations sites for this position are: Albany NY, Scottsdale AZ, Sandy UT, Moon PA, Jacksonville FL, Fresno CA, Bismarck ND, San Antonio TX, and Arlington TX.
