POSITION SUMMARY

This is a key position in a new business unit being established to focus on the accuracy of provider demographic data, the quality of provider directories, and the compliance with state and federal provider directory requirements. The Business Information Management Senior Consultant will support achievement of the goals of this unit through development of related data initiatives including but not limited to creating and maintaining provider data quality metrics, development of provider data quality dashboards, support data mining, and provide consultative support related to the flow of provider data. This role will also support leveraging external data quality vendors and potential integration into Aetnas provider data ecosystem.

Fundamental Components:

Develop initiatives designed to leverage data to identify opportunities for improvement and monitoring the quality of provider demographic data

Support use of data analytics to develop relevant metrics, reporting, and dashboards to support provider data improvement initiatives

Identify and support identification and implementation of technology based solutions

Manage external relationships with data quality improvement vendors, clarify roles, minimize overlap

Support data governance initiatives by providing data, reporting, and consultative expertise relative to data quality and data flow mapping

Support provider contracting and network team provider data oversight and validation requirements

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

3-5 years of data interpretation and analysis experience.

Extensive experience with databases as well interpretation and manipulation of related data.

Healthcare background.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
