POSITION SUMMARY

Executes the strategic business support plans for assigned strategic accounts in support of partner relationships, agent onboarding, marketing planning and strategy, member retention and new partners/initiatives.

Fundamental Components:Supports Sales Executive and Department Head with assigned sales, retention and sales objectives and aligns with key opportunities to ensure channel and partner growth. Acts as strategic business partner to channel partners and Sales Executives to optimize the positioning of Aetna's products and services and to attain sales and membership objectives. Draws from entire spectrum of product line and seeks opportunities to offer direct support for planning, marketing, relationship management and business development support. In partnership with Sales Executives and Department Head, works collaboratively within Aetna and across business functions to ensure customer needs are understood and key issues are addressed. Thoroughly analyzes and reviews reports and utilization in order to consult with partners, implement appropriate interventions and drive mutually beneficial outcomes for the partner and Aetna.Analyzes and reviews sales, agent and lead generation reports/data to assist the customers in understanding key drivers of growth. Recommends solutions based on data.Coordinates resources at direction of Sales Directors and Department Head to ensure a successful sales cycle, partner programs and presentation to management.BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:3-5 years health insurance sales or distribution experience. Exposure to Medicare strongly preferred.Multi-functional experience, such as agent licensing, appointment, certification, commissions, and product knowledge.Active, unrestricted life and health license. For candidates with applicable experience but without an active license, obtaining a license within 60-90 days of joining will be required.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
