Aetna SGB Sales Executive in Denver, Colorado

Develop and cultivate relationships with key constituents to maximize activity and sales results. Strategically manage territory and serve as an internal subject matter expert to provide key market feedback to ensure best competitive position.

Fundamental Components:

  • Develop and manage relationships with assigned producers (brokers) for Small Group products in the Colorado market (25%)

  • Develop and manage prospect pipeline to ensure all timelines and due dates are met (20%)

  • Serve as small group subject matter expert and provide key market level competitive intelligence to ensure product competitiveness (10%)

  • Main point of contact for external and internal communication of product changes and updates

  • Lead contact for managing key General Agent relationships

  • Lead and coordinate market training and updates for products and services

  • Develop strategic plan for market and assigned territory


  • 3-5 years experience with commercial group insurance products, particular focus on small group products

  • demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines

  • knowledge and understanding of alternately funded group medical insurance products

  • possess at minimum a fundamental grasp of Colorado small group market competitive landscape


    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


    Insurance/Life and Health Insurance License is desired
