Aetna MMA Sales Executive in Denver, Colorado

This position is responsible for selling commercial group insurance products in the Middle Market segment (100-3,000 employer size) in the Colorado market. The primary focus of this role will be developing and maintaining key external relationships to drive appropriate prospect opportunities to meet assigned objectives.

Fundamental Components:

  • Developing and maintaining key broker and other external relationships to drive appropriate prospect activity

  • Fostering internal relationships that promote a productive working environment across different functional members of the team

  • Developing and executing a strategic plan for specific assignment

  • Provide market and competitive feedback as appropriate

  • Participating in external presentations to promote Aetna's products and services

  • Continually learn and adapt to industry changes


  • Bachelor degree or higher

  • Minimum 5 years in a Group Commercial product sales role

  • Solid experience and understanding of self funding and other alternate funded products

  • Demonstrated experience and competency with presentation skills

  • Ability to think, plan and execute a strategic plan

  • Self motivated with a desire and ability to work independently with minimal oversight


    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
