POSITION SUMMARY

Aetna is taking on a major initiative to redesign and rebuild many of its customer facing digital assets. This effort will include a completely new approach to building software within Aetna, using the latest design approaches, technologies, and processes. Aetna Digital, a newly formed startup like business unit within Aetna, will design, build and deliver a completely new digital experience for users.

Fundamental Components:

Aetna Digital is looking for a Product Owner (Providers and Price Transparency) with experience working in a fast-paced, startup like environment. As a Product Manager for our team, you will own strategy and feature functionality to help users find, understand and access healthcare providers and price transparency on the digital platform. Grow your skill set and knowledge base by working alongside talented and passionate teammates from diverse backgrounds.

  • Understand customer and user needs to product vision for the short and long term

  • Communicate product vision effectively

  • Partner with engineering team to define, track and test user stories in agile

  • Perform industry and competitive research

  • Collaborate with UI/UX to perform user research

  • Partner with external vendors on requirements definition and feature development

    BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

  • 7+ years of experience in product management or similar

  • Strong communication skills and ability to help lead product development

  • Experience in working with engineering and UX teams to build web applications and native iOS/Android apps

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum

    EDUCATION

    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
