POSITION SUMMARY

This pharmacist position is part of a team that coordinates and oversees Medicare clinical operations as it relates to formulary products and program requirements both within Aetna and it's PBM vendor. Work at Home Position.

Looking for Managed Care experience or PBM experience NOT retail experience such as Walgreens, Rite Aid, CVS etc.

Fundamental Components:

Responsibilities include: - Participate in formulary development and maintenance - Focus on clinical operational excellence and PBM delegated function oversight - Issue prevention, detection and rapid remediation - Participate in the yearly Implementation of formularies supportive logic on the PBM platform. - Interpretation and implementation of CMS guidance as it pertains to clinical operations surrounding the Part D drug benefit. - Create and maintain policies and procedures around job functions. Oversee the clinical aspects of pre-effecuation, ANOC and TOC.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE

In-depth knowledge and experience in managed care / managed pharmacy / competitive environment.

3 years clinical pharmacy/administrative experience or equivalent.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Doctor of Pharmacy.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Pharmacy/Registered Pharmacist (RPh) is required

Healthcare Management/Managed Healthcare Professional, HIAA is desired
